1. The best way to thaw meat

If meat is thawed too quickly, it will release a liquid called drip, so it is best to thaw it slowly in the refrigerator to preserve its flavor. If you are using it as a side dish for dinner, move it to the refrigerator or chilled compartment in the morning. If you are in a hurry, use low heat (around 200W) or a defrosting mode on your microwave if it has one. This is fine in cooler seasons, but in summer, thawing food naturally from the refrigerator can easily spoil, so it is best to avoid it for hygienic reasons.

2. Tips for grilling delicious GOSAMARU to bring out its flavor

Before grilling meat, cutting the surface of the meat into strips will prevent it from curling. In this process, making small cuts on the surface of the meat will help prevent it from shrinking due to heat and help maintain its shape. Also, when grilling meat, starting with the fattier parts will help prevent the meat from sticking to the griddle. Heating a frying pan or hot plate to around 200 degrees Celsius before grilling the meat will help lock in the flavor of the meat.

3. Homemade sauce makes it even more delicious

You can also make your own yakiniku sauce. A basic recipe includes soy sauce, apple juice, cooking sake, sugar, sesame oil, grated garlic, grated ginger, and white sesame seeds. You can adjust the flavor by adding chili bean paste or honey to suit your taste.
